Our story

From Our Workshop to Your Bedroom

Most beds begin life in a distant warehouse, stacked by the pallet and shipped to whoever pays. Ours begin as fine timber and carefully chosen fabrics in our own Yorkshire workshop.

We don't cut a single piece of timber until your order is confirmed. Every bed is built for one person: you. Your size, your fabric, your headboard, measured, stitched and upholstered by skilled craftsmen who take pride in every detail.

This is the difference between buying a bed and having one made for you.

Sizes are the industry-standard mattress sizes, quoted as width × length. The finished frame can vary by a centimetre or two depending on the style — the bed takes the mattress size its name says.

What if I need to cancel or change my order?

Life happens — we get it. If you need to cancel, just let us know and your £40 deposit is refunded in full. Want to change something, like a different fabric or size? Tell us before your bed goes into build and we'll do our best to sort it. We only ask that you let us know as early as you can, simply because every bed is made to order for one person: you.

How does delivery work?

Free, anywhere in the UK, in 2 to 6 working days. Your bed is built to order in our Dewsbury workshop, then delivered to your door — and you only pay the balance once it's in your home. If you'd rather not assemble it yourself, professional assembly in the room of your choice is £100.

Ordering a made-to-order bed should feel as calm as sleeping on it. Here's exactly how it works.

Pick your bed and size

Browse the collection, then message us with the bed you love. We'll confirm your size, fabric and headboard together.

A £40 deposit secures your build slot

Every bed is built to order, so your £40 deposit confirms your place in our build queue and lets our craftsmen begin. It comes straight off your total. Because we make every bed ourselves in our own workshop, we have no suppliers to pay before we start, so we see no reason to hold your money before your bed exists. You should never have to pay in full for something you have not seen yet. You pay the rest only when your bed is delivered and you are fully satisfied with it. Pay the £40 deposit

Pay the rest when it's in your home

Your bed is delivered to your door, and you settle the balance then. Simple, fair, and entirely pressure-free.

Terms & Conditions

Clear terms, from our workshop to your home.

We want ordering your bed to feel straightforward. These terms explain how your order, deposit, delivery and warranty work.

Only £40 is paid before delivery.

The £40 deposit secures your place in our production schedule and confirms that your order is ready for our craftsmen to begin. It comes straight off your total, so it is not an extra charge.

Because we make every bed ourselves in our own workshop, we have no suppliers to pay before we start, so we see no reason to hold your money before your bed exists. We believe you should not have to pay in full for something you have not seen yet.

We want you to see your bed in your own home and be fully satisfied with it before you pay the rest. That is how a manufacturer who is confident in the quality of its own work does business.

Placing your order

Choose your bed, size, fabric, colour and any extras. We will confirm your order details with you before your bed enters production. Your £40 deposit secures your place in our production schedule and comes off the total price.

Made to order in Yorkshire

Every bed is made to order in our Yorkshire workshop. Our team prepares the timber, fabric and finish for the size and design you have chosen.

Your balance is paid on delivery

You do not pay the full balance upfront. The remaining balance is paid when your bed has been delivered to your home and you are satisfied with it. We provide a receipt for your payment.

24 month warranty

Your bed is covered by our 24 month warranty. If your bed arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 24 hours with photos so we can put it right.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Your legal rights remain in place alongside our warranty and the support described here.

Return Policy

Cancellations & Returns

We understand that sometimes plans change, and we want to be fair with you.

Before production begins

If you change your mind before your bed goes into production, just let us know and we will cancel your order and return your £40 deposit in full. No questions, no hard feelings.

Once production has started

Once your bed is in production, our craftsmen have already started cutting timber and fabric specifically for you. Your bed is being made to your exact size, fabric and colour, so we cannot sell it to someone else. If you cancel at this stage, we will cancel your order, but the £40 deposit becomes non refundable to cover the materials and work already started.

Made for one person

We hope you understand. Every bed we make is made for one person, and once we begin, it is yours in every way.

If your bed arrives faulty or damaged

If your bed arrives faulty or damaged, that is completely different. Please contact us within 24 hours with photos and we will fix it or replace it at no cost to you. This is covered by your 24 month warranty.

Need to change or cancel an order?

Please contact us as soon as you can. We will check whether production has started and explain the next step clearly.

We arrange delivery across UK mainland addresses. We will contact you to confirm the date before the route is booked.

Standard delivery

Our standard delivery time is 2 to 6 days. Timing can depend on your chosen design, fabric, postcode and the delivery route.

Rapid delivery

Need your bed sooner? Ask us about our 2 day rapid delivery option. We will check your design and postcode, then confirm availability.

Reserve now, deliver later

You can reserve your bed at today’s price and choose a later delivery time. Your £40 deposit holds your place while we arrange the timing with you.

UK mainland, ground floor

Delivery is available to UK mainland addresses and is made to the ground floor. Please tell us before ordering if access is restricted or the room is on another floor.

What happens on delivery day

Someone can accept for you

You do not have to be there personally. A trusted adult can accept the bed on your behalf and check it when it arrives.

Check your bed

Take a moment to look over your bed at delivery. Once you are satisfied, the remaining balance is paid and you receive a receipt.

If you miss the delivery

Contact us as soon as possible. We will speak with the courier team and arrange the next suitable delivery route with you.

Mattress types explained

Orthopaedic

A supportive, firmer feel designed to keep your body well supported through the night. It can suit people who prefer less sink and a more stable surface.

Memory foam

Foam responds to warmth and pressure, gently shaping around your body. It can suit side sleepers and anyone who likes a close, cushioned feel.

Hybrid

A combination of springs and comfort layers. It offers the bounce and airflow of springs with added cushioning on top.

Pocket sprung

Individual springs move separately to support different parts of the body. This can reduce movement across the mattress when two people share a bed.

Firmness guide

Soft

More cushioning and a deeper sink. Often preferred by lighter sleepers and some side sleepers who want gentle pressure relief.

Medium

A balance of comfort and support. A popular choice for couples, combination sleepers and anyone unsure where to begin.

Firm

A more supportive surface with less sink. Often chosen by back sleepers, front sleepers and people who enjoy a sturdier feel.

Measure the available floor space, doorways, stairs and turns. Leave room to move around the bed and open nearby doors or drawers.

Think about how you sleep

Your usual sleeping position, body weight and preferred feel all matter. Couples should discuss whether they notice each other moving during the night.

Choose the bed and mattress together

The base can change how a mattress feels. Tell us if you want storage, extra height or a particular look, so we can help you compare suitable combinations.
